Now that PC is getting more attention and the audiences are more diverse than ever, lets hope they reconsider PC for their next installment of sports games. It helped them lower the workload for the devs and still made them a ton of money. The reason EA stopped making sports titles for PC (in my opinion) is because coding for the PC is difficult (because of all the different hardware configurations) and they noticed their target audience was for consoles. Only real set back are the lousy graphics and lack of features when comparing it to the ps3 or 360 version, this game is a PS2 port. If it would only be playable i would be so glad.īut I still can´t figure out why they stopped to sell this.ĭigital copies cost them way less money then retail copies.Īnd i dont think that porting it to pc would be so hard (Dark Souls is a different story) i would suggest add-ons from to correct jersey errors and rosters, as EA-Sports does not support this game for PC at all. I dont mind them to bring this only on Origin.
If EA see that NBA2K15 does incredibly well, they might consider it. Lets hope the next set of sports games they make are for PC/XBO/PS4. The program lies within Games, more precisely Sports. Play the very best of soccer, football, ice hockey, golf, basketball, Formula 1® and MMA games with Electronic Arts’ sports titles.
This PC software was developed to work on Windows XP, Windows 7, Windows 8 or Windows 10 and is compatible with bit systems.Nhl 09 free download - NHL demo, NHL 99 demo, NHL demo, and many more programs. Times have changed and PC is getting more attention. NHL 99 comes with all new rosters, new gameplay, and /5(). Right now the only sports title available for the PC by EA is FIFA. Obviously they would only be available on Origin which is better than not at all. And not in the way we talk about that being done today when we feel like they don't add anything. Originally posted by Processor:It would be amazing if EA would finally start bringing sports titles back to the PC (like Madden, NHL and UFC) but that's up to them. When NHL 07 was released for Xbox 360 they stopped developing the game for PC, Xbox and PS2 and added updated rosters and a new cover to NHL 06 instead (NHL 08 and 09 for those systems weren't even done by EA Canada).
